Hiya all B)

Just dropped by to say that life in the old London town has been moving along slowly for these last 14 months or so, well, for me personally anyway! I really do LOVE London and my eldest son (23yrs) is also here (as a lot of you know) so that's been great for us both. London does have a way of grinding you down though and if you've lived here and had to commute to the city regularly, you'll know what I mean!

I have been living in N London between Epping Forest and Tottenham. Work has been slower than the past 6 years but what do we expect with the world in such an appalling recession with apparently, another year to come yet! Diversification has had to be the key word these past 2 years and have done all sorts of stuff, digital and non-digital, to keep alive and pay the rent etc . . but it's been VERY tough.

Still painting though and saw a fantastic gallery viewing in Central London a few months back with my very good and old friends Sas & Colin Christian. They now live in Miami and some of you will have seen their work mentioned on my site in the past. It was SO good to see them both and they haven't changed one bit. They sold many pieces, colin's fantastic and sometimes MASSIVE sculptures and Sas's wonderfully 'of the moment' oils/acrylics and the standard they work at now is simply outstanding! They must have cleared around £90,000 in one evening at the private viewing so guys . . DON'T listen to ANYONE when they tell you ART does NOT pay - it does, it's just hard work and takes time and dedication.

Some of us - myself included - have been airbrushing for over 25 years and Art is just in the blood, it defines us, it makes us what we are. Being true creatives, this can sometimes have negative effects on those around you and then this effects your own life - if you let it. It's difficult to be truly understood as a bona fide creative and if you are that, then you know what I mean.

London with Dan Power back in May was simply awesome! Had some great fun and make lots of new friends and will be posting a FULL feature on this very soon on my website. Teaching alongside Dan was really inspiring, he's a very talented guy and we had a blast. We laughed - a lot!

I truly hope we can get together again very soon, having Dan stay at my studio flat meant we spent 24/7 together and man, it was non-stop laughs . . even when he smashed up his big toe trying to jump up onto the big lions in trafalgar Sq. Hehe! brilliant fun ....

We had students from as far as Portugal attend the masterclass and although the venue was a bit tight, it was a wonderful place to teach from. We were also able to cover some Photoshop lessons and i showed students how to render up these images in Photoshop using different layers, filters and levels etc:

I am offering hi-res pics of this image (plus others) when the www.organicimage.com gets it's update very soon, so look out for that eh! ;)

Several bikes I painted early last year have won awards this summer - 'which is nice' (Fast Show!) and a lot of you may remember this baby:

Life has been very, very tough these last 20 or so months for me. I won't bore you all with the details (some of you already know) but I know it's made me look at a great deal of things in a different way, and people too. I hope that the airbrush industry can survive this terrible state of current affairs but I know one thing . . even if the airbrush sales and stencils are low for the whole of the industry, if paint still is argued about in another 5 years re: who's is THE best, if airbrush 'rock' gods come and go . . God-willing, I'll still be drawing, I'll still be airbrushing and I'll still be truly in love and passionate about my art because after all, for some of us, it's all we have when there is nothing else.

Keep fighting for the Arts everyone, together, we make the world a colourful place.

Nuff said . . some pretty pics of more current stuff. .
