Ok, so I tried ps for the first time, very impressed with the flow. Problem I'm having though is with the tacky, very delicate surface. Have hit it with hot air, but to little advantage.
Manny thanks.

It shouldn't be tacky and without more details I'd be guessing. You may want to throw a couple of light coats of extend air over it and see how you go.

Thats the reason I stopped using PS on hard surface....i could never get it tack free even with the application of heat. Seemed like I always had dust, hair or lint sticking to my paint and THAT is a no no... I tried everything I could think of...nothing seemed to work so I switched paint.

So what did you switch to?

I had similar issues but used the layer of Extend Air. You may also want to use Pol E'tac, it's a binder but can be used as an intercoat on hard surfaces. Once I mixed these I had no problems.

I tried that too Gordon but tired of having to add more layers. Seemed like by the time I got done what i needed to do, the dust had already attacked it before I could even lay down the 'peudo intercoat'. I was part of the folks who trialed that mixture of using 50/50 reduceair/extendair to make what is now known as PolEtac. I still had lots of troubles so....

I switched back to Goldens. I rarely use Golden anymore as Wicked is AS vibrant and has little to no tack. I am happy with it. It does contain a nominal(very small amount) amount of solvent so be aware of that.

i prefer efx light dusting hot air dry, then it sticks ok for me, I dont care what anyone says ps IS tacky with some kind of elastisizer (imo)It will lift with the mask if not done correctly, in the begining this was devloped for the textile side of the range. and made to move with a garment. and it works pretty well for that.
and lets be fare the American market for spraying T's is a pretty big one! and it is all about the green.
It is a tricky paint to work with, some dont like it, there are lots of things i dont like about E'tac, but efx isnt one of them lol
