Hi again Guy's/Gals.

I will try not to stress you all out too much

Basically i am doing a paint job on a friends motorcycle, its Suzuki GSXR RIZLA Replica. I have done all the main colours and decals but the guy wants a small personal touch but he is'nt very forthcoming.

The main colour is a sky blue with the decals of rizla.
What he has said is he wants a maltese cross near the " nut crushing" part of the tank with his nickname incorporated.
He doesnt want anything to cover the cross as it is a family thing.

The cross will be approx 4in dia which has to use red white and blue.

Could anyone come up with any ideas that would make it stand out, rather than being quite basic.

Backgrounds, enclosed etc.
I do appreciate all the help recieved so far and will try not to bother you all for at least a day or two :P ;)
Kindest regards Roger.

I dont know if i have done this right :P

If you can imagine the cross having a slight blue band to the left of each section then the white upto the middle and the other half of each section in red.

1 quater blue 1 quater white and the other half red.

please bare with me .

Thanks guys.

Hi Salem,
That is a nice cross with good detail but the one i am using just seems to lack everything.
I am not a wizz with paintshop pro but my imagination just does'nt seem to work on this. :(

Hi Roger

the Rizla "+" symbol is not too dissimilar to a maltese cross anyway, and keeping it simple adding a very light drop shadow would lift the cross up. Just a thought ;)

Mark/Steve, What a great thought :P ;)

It would have to be fairly basic as i am new to this. :o

If you do'nt mind me asking how would you go about this?

Would you start with the yellow for the rizla then add the maltese cross and then use the black to outline the rizla cross afterwards?

The only thing that concerns me is the amount of bright colours involved ;)

Thanks for the ideas its very much appreciated.
regards roger.

:D only joking....you best check with your customer first ref.the colours but the black around the cross is more the 3-D effect rather than drop shadow.I would rather use drop shadow like thisPosted Image
which ever you have got some stencils to make.... ;)
