(BTW, you now owe me a tenner, if you looked at my last bit of work in the gallery, because it was completely different to anything else I've seen, therefore I must TM it, and no-one else can use it as artistic inspiration!!)

I am confused! You joined us 5 days ago, then would like some sponsorship?

I agree with Clivey on this, not really the way we all work here on this board. But each to his own I guess.

If it is that groundbreaking, get in touch with one of the big paint companies / stencil companies. And do something with them.

Paint recipe, stencils, DVD's and all that. You should get a couple of pence per pound they make in profit. Pre tax of course. Best of luck with it dude, look forward to seeing this new system!

I'm confused too, I pointed you over to this forum as you were looking for some help regarding plotter work for a forces charity event and knowing what the guys n gals are like here (especially regarding the forces) I knew you'd get help but I'm scratching my head over this one, if we're misreading this post in any way then please explain.

wagh!!..i kinda come across all wrong..
so before anything let me apologise if you got the impression im trying to freeload off you guys..
the long and short is im chuffed to bits to have found this new technique and im willing to share with everyone for free, but (this is where ill probly come across wrong againlol)
by sponsership i meant if anyone could help out with some cheap paints (maybe at cost)? and would like to continue with this project..
As for approaching the bigger companies,i wouldnt even know where to start, but like i said i will be sharing it for free,i just dont think its quite ready yet:)

hope this clears it up and not made it worse..
sorry if i offended anyone as it wasnt deliberate..

cheers .....

Yea...I don't know....sounds alot like a chap from KKL forum....6nozzles was his nick and now he has a new name...
Hardly any new ideas in this world, mostly just recycled and renamed...similar to all the painting variations depicting Dant'es Inferno, Divine Tragedy....
Think Dru's now teaching a couple new tricks but I am sure yours is different.

You need to learn to promote yourself....sorry but this just sounds like a scam... You won't find corporate sponsorship on a forum and IF you do, you have to be REALLY GOOD or a really good bull shitter...mostly what you'll find on forums are everyday folks and gullible newbs.... -_-

maybe Auto Air may help you out if you showed them what you where up to but i daubt any of the distributors would do any sponcering as promotion is usualy up to the parant company

to be honest most artists are going on forums and plugging the paint and equipment they use freely , sometimes as a bragging right but usualy becouse it answers the main questions that people invariably ask anyway

i have been sent samples by paint manufacturers and by airbrush companies and funnily enough it was becouse i questioned thier product and the hype not becouse of my artwork as i am not a high profile artist anyway

personaly i think you will have to prove yourself first before the offers come rushing in

Yeah, There aren't to many "new" techniques out there, just different takes on the same one.

I've got a nice collection of airbrushing dvds and stuff, and i can tell you now. i pickup helpful tips from them, like different materials that can be used for stencils that give unusual results....

but its not a new technique.

Forums are designed to be a helpful free way to learn from others, and hopefully they learn a bit from you too. not a way to pimp yourself out, or beg for cheap paint.

We all wish we could get cheap at cost paint. But unless you are amazing and the paint companies come to you....... :S
