this is my first entirely :Etac: paint. I bought also an Air Conditioner, but i think is a matter of dilution/percentage/pression because I didn't found yet the right way to go, especially with the WHITE. But anyway, this stuff is cool! I hope the future works will bring me more confidence - any advice for :Etac: usage, welcome!

Looks fantastic, the colour saturation is so vibrant. What do you think you need advice on? Can I also ask why you used Condition Air and was this EFX or Private Stock?

Very sharp image.

Thanks for your kind comments. Being the first (aaa...second, ok...) time I use :Etac: for the whole work, I'm a bit concerned about the amount of paint/water/a.o. ingredients. I used Private Stock and I think will take a while until I figure what is the right percentage of the Air Conditioner in the color cup. I know that AC is to avoid dry tip... I put 2 drops of AC in 20 drops of water and 5 drops of color... but I think is a matter of searching for the best formula that works, it depends on what you want to do... Especially the white - which is tricky to use always.

I'd use Condition Air very, very sparingly. I would also use less water but that's maybe just me.

Do you have Extend Air?
My usual mix through a 0.2 at around 20psi is 10 paint, 10 Extend Air and 5-10 of water of I want to go really lightly.

But like you say it's all about experimenting.

Private stock white has always been a problem for me i find it doesnt spray nearly as well as EFX white but EFX doesnt seem as strong in pigment to me , EFX would not require the same reduction in water as your PS and the formula Gordon[aerart] gave sounds very good for that purpose

i use alcohol in my water as well as conditionair when i want my PS to perform better another good product for this is the new autoair 4011 reducer which greatly helps most paints in regards to tip dry and finer atomisation ,however when you do this your paint will no longer be truly waterbased if that is a concerne to you

thanks so much for comments - indeed, now we can choose and try from all sort of chemicals and additives for colors - the technology is working for us. Just few years ago we didn't have so much - especially here in my country where the information (and addicted products) flows slowly. I will try all the possible combinations and products I can buy from :Etac: and I will share some experience here. Thanks again.
