actualy for covering large areas effectivly i use halfords rattle cans they are very good quality ,infact so good that if im in a hurry or just have say a bike tank to do i will buy those instead of forking out for 1/2 litr mixed from the paint suppliers as the cheapest pearl is £30 for half a litre

when cleared properly no one can tell its rattle can and the colour matches are usualy spot on if the vehicle is standard #1 shade
you can even dacant them for use through an airbrush or touch up gun ;)

I know you already have the 2k paint but.......

I use Cromadex 2k non-iso high solids clearcoat and its great. Not as easy to use as the iso stuff but gives a great finish once you've got a good set up on your gun and mix of clear/hardner/thinners.

The only trouble with non iso 2k, is its only as good as rattle can lacquer (just thicker) it will still discolour with petrol ect.
