Ladies, Gents, et al, You may have seen on the Helloween thread in this forum, the 'seedlings' of a Panel Swap 'competition'. If Beej and the rest of you are happy, I'll volunteer my services to run with this idea! My suggestions for it are: A closing date of Midnight on the 21st November 2008 (This should then avoid the Christmas rush for posting!). All entries should be posted on this forum by that time. If your pic is posted, you are agreeing to shell out the 'huge' postage costs to send to another artist! Panel size should be A3. I'll then get my Fiancee to draw 'pictures to receiver' out of a hat and post the results on here! It would then be up to the painter to post to the receiver. My suggestions for subject are: Christmas (of course) Self-portrait Your dream car Favourite film Or of course any other subject you lot can come up with. If you're all happy, I'll stick to a cut off date for suggestions (and a decision on the subject matter) of Friday the 19th September, and that will then give us all nine weeks to get painting!!!! Artistic licence when choosing your subject for your panel is allowed, in fact expected!!!! Any other points feel free to post!!!! Clive

Right then everyone, Think the decision has been made! (I know it's three hours early, but.......) The subject for the panel swap (by concensus of opinion) is...................."Fanfare!!" SANTA  Remember, that artistic licence is more than expected, so Santa's that are 'scary', 'magic', 'cute', etc are all fair game for subjects! So then, all you 'old sweats', 'have-a-goers', 'Us newbies' and everyone else on here.................................................GET PAINTING!!!!!!!! Clive
