Hi All  COMPETITION 1 April 2007 Subject: Creative Idea and name for the second-hand art material section on OrganicImage.com and idea for a logo (which we will then go on to design and use on the website) To get started, we were thinking of something reflecting second 'Hand' like for example, we all need a second hand. Problem with this is some artists may paint with their feet and it may be deemed as offensive (unless you think otherwise?) It could also refer to a watch maker! Over to you then . . . ------------------------------- OK, fire away your ideas in this post and in a week from today, we'll run a poll vote to pick a winner. Succesful idea will win the True Fire 1 DVD (original Mike Lavallee flame tutorial DVD) and a selection of colours from the Etac Private Stock collection. Good luck to everyone and above all, have fun with it.

 here's my bit of input on this one then to get us all started...my creative idea.... i'm going for time. as the second hand ticks around the clock we outgrow things we once thought we needed or realise that we have no use for them anymore, but time doesnt stop so we give them a new lease of life by selling them on - which will make someone elses time all the better for buying it! title - 'a second chance for the second hand' maybe? and as for a logo, i dont know why but my mind keeps returning to a dali'esque dripping clock and paintbrush lol! :lol: |

Ok how many goes at this do we get LOL!  The one I keep coming back to is: RECYCLED AIR Obviously recycled coz you're giving your stuff a second life & air coz of the context & what this site is all about, Airbrushing! I have a sketch of a logo but my scanner aint working & I've lent my camera out so will have to wait a couple of days! But it's a re working of the internaional Recycled symbol you get the gist! Oh & must score points for the Green message surely................."Hey stop calling me Shirly!"
