Back from the early 80's right thru the 90's I did an awful lot of large format painting which is a hell of a lot easier than painting tiny skulls on a bike!! :skull1:

Here is a selection of images I did while commissioned over a 5-year period for SEGA Europe. I used to go all over painting Sonic the hedgehog! Brilliant days!

I used to paint all day every day on MDF panels and onto the walls and went from Plymouth to Glasgow and accross France doing this for Sega. Below are pics of my kids rooms when they were t'babbies - my son (in the pic) is now 18 and at art college and my daughter (pictured also) is now a moody Emo (for all of those who don't yet have teenagers for children - YOU LUCKY BASTARDS!!)

This is a huge 5M high rig i designed and help build. we then clad it with massive graphics which were printed on a large format, 48" wide printer and mounted onto MDF panels. These were then cut on-site with a jigsaw b4 being fitted to the massive legs of theis space-age themed, WipeOut Virtual game.

More pics coming soom, I'll have to go crate digging!

lol! :) Yeha, 4 sure Svee! I'm knackered and old now bud! I think that pic was around 1993-ish. I really miss doing large stuff and I'm hoping - with the new studio conversion here on the farm - that I'll have the chance to do some more much bigger canvasses and panels. I'm planning on decorating the whole barn with murals!

I'll post more elsewhere about this seeing as the cat is out of the bag! ;)

PS: How did your big mural come on? Finished yet?
