There are many reasons for sometimes things just 'happening' and believing in creative power and especially, believing in yourself, is the best place to start to discover some of these answers . . This is going to be the forum where we talk about the Artists Way. If you want to use it to work thru the books and get help then feel free and also, check the new links for the Artists Way Blog and their new website AND DVD (which I am going to HAVE to get me!  )So, keep it creative and let's help each other make something of ourselves for the world, for our family or maybe just because we want to for ourselves . . the stage is huge, we can all play a part and enjoy the creative journey together with some serious, kick-ass support! Finding the enter artist! Sounds very interesting. I'll check my book store and see if they have it. You were right to lead me to reading this, they have a DVD so it might be fun to watch. I think we can all relate!!

OK Beej, I've took your advise and the book arrived yesterday, just done my first morning pages but I thought it would be good to let you know how I'm doing seeing as you're the one whose recommended using it. I very sporradically post on here and thats because life seems to get in the way of my art. I'm off work with stress my other half had a motorbike accident and now seems like the right time to do something. I have had a quick overview and read the first part, I can identify with so many things it says its quite uncanny, simple really, lets hope it helps me to get going!

Its been a week now and I've done the morning pages ok, they seem to wake me up and also sort out my problems, also have made some discoveries like my fear of failure.Thing I'm finding the most difficult is the artists date as I'm looking after my other half after a motorbike accident, havn't managed to do anything yet and have decided I won't start wek 2 till I've been.
